The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand the team, and bring in top travel and technology talent.

A Smarter Way to Travel

“Vacations are deeply personal experiences. People spend months saving and planning, yet most platforms offer a transactional experience with limited personalisation,” said Sahil Sharma, CEO and Co-founder of Rimigo. The startup aims to transform this by offering AI-powered, end-to-end vacation planning, tailored to users’ preferences and destinations.

Rimigo’s platform creates comprehensive itineraries, along with flight suggestions, handpicked stays, dining spots, and activity options. The AI takes into account user preferences to ensure every aspect of the trip feels customized.

Early Traction and Vision

In its beta phase, Rimigo has already helped organise over 120 vacations. Of these, 50 trips have been completed with strong user feedback and repeat interest, while the remaining are currently being planned.

Co-founder and CTO Shubham Chintalwar emphasized the opportunity that AI presents: “We now have a real chance to build a vacation planning experience that feels truly personal and intuitive.” The startup also leverages collaborative tools, helping groups plan together efficiently.

Rimigo was co-founded by Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole, the trio behind GigIndia, a freelance platform that scaled to 1.5 million micro-entrepreneurs and was acquired by PhonePe in 2022.

What’s Next?

With a focus on international travel, Rimigo plans to combine AI-driven personalisation with local expertise, aiming to bridge the gap between travel research and bookings. “We want to simplify the complexity of travel planning and make international vacations feel effortless,” added Aditya Shirole, CPO and Co-founder.

As the global travel sector rebounds, Rimigo is positioning itself as a next-generation travel companion—blending smart technology with curated experiences for the modern traveler.
